If your web searches are being hijacked and you have lots of popups, then you probably have spyware on your computer. We can come in, install the tools to clean up your PC and take away the frustration of spyware. This usually takes about 1 hour.

Configuring Your Computer To Receive Faxes

If you're fed up with receiving tonnes of wasteful spam messages on your fax machine, we can set up your PC to receive faxes instead. This lets you only print the faxes that are relevant and also allows you to electronically store faxes, like you do with emails.

Installing Broadband Routers

We find lots of companies have a broadband connection but only one PC connected at any one time. With a simple broadband router, you can easily have 4 PCs all on the net at the same time. You'll also be able to share printers between all your PCs. We can install a router for you, and arrange all your wiring needs - or even set up wireless networking for less cluttered office. Hard Drive Upgrades

If you've had your PC for a few years now, chances are that your hard disk maybe on the small side. And what with the broadband revolution, you might be downloading larger files and accessing the internet more than ever. If your HD is low on space, it can seriously effect performance. Replacing your hard drive is relatively straight forward - but is best left to a professional. We will get you a new HD, open up your PC, copy across all your files and programs to the new one, and put it all back together. This rarely takes more than 1 hour to complete, and 40gb hard drives start at about £25.

Creating A Backup Plan

Unfortunately companies often put off thinking about backups until they first suffer a data loss and need to get back some critical files. We will look at the amount of data you need to backup and identify the best way to do it, whether that be to a CD-RW, external Hard Drive or other device. In this heightened times of alarm, it's comforting to you know you can access your files should you be unable to access your normal office PCs for any reason.

Setting Up A Mail Server

If your company has more than 3 employees, you might want to have your own mail server. This will let you control all your incoming and outgoing email, block email viruses, add company disclaimers, cut down on spam and keep an archive of all company emails, as well as monitor staff activity.
